    MCE "Cannot Play Video"

After converting to H.264, I added the folder to Media Centre 2005, when I try to play, MCE says "Cannot Play Video, Media Center cannot open file".

I stopped MCEBuddy converting to free up CPU but still not working. File does open with VLC media player, but my remote control doesn't work with that.

I have the same problem - using default H264 720p Profile. Does not open in WMP/MCE but opens in VLC without seek bar. (Using Vista MCE.)

In my problem the files are incomplete - not sure why, because MCEBuddy is deleting the original which tells me the encode completed OK. No disk space issues. System otherwise stable.

File size is generally about 100mb also which may mean nothing.  Doesnt happen all the time either. I'm using MediaCoder for now until the new version and hope that will fix it.

I assume you both have ffdshow or K-Lite pack installed?
