Does MCEBuddy take the aspect ratio of the source video into account for resize, or when you ask for a 480 x 320 you are ALWAYS going to get a 480 x 320 output?

Also, does it do an autocrop?

OoOOOOOh! one more! If MCEBuddy is aspect aware, does it take the desired WIDTH and calculate the height, or does it take the desired HEIGHT, and calculate the width?

MCEBuddy 1.x does retain aspect ratio automatically when ersizing but it uses the mencoder conversion libs to do it and they sometimes get it wrong. In MCEBuddy 2.0 we are scanning the video and explicitly setting the resizing, aspect ratio and bitrate so it should be more reliable.
