MCEBuddy

Hi. I'm new to using MCEBuddy and it looks nice so far, but I have failed to find out how I can take a dvr-ms file and simply convert it into a mpeg file by changing it's container format than actually re-encoding the entire file like AutoDVRConvert does.

 I've tried using the mpeg2 profile, but it started re-encoding the entire file which takes a lot of time.

Is it possible to do this? Thanks.

Just use ffmpeg to do the job manually.  Otherwise in MCEbuddy 2.0 we're just doing an extract only for MPEG2 instead of a .transcode which is what I think you're after.
