    Derek,

     Glad to hear that 2.0 is ready for testing. I went to the link that you provided in the email; however, it says that the site is not up. Is that what we are waiting for? Take your time to answer and thanks for all your hard work.

    I got an email saying it was ready, but its nowhere on the site, can anyone show me where it is please.

     

    also schmitty, it says that because u have to log onto the site first then cut and paste the address in

    Then go to here:

    The latest beta should be on top of the list if you are in the beta group.

    The site/community software I'm using isn't great for this sort of activity but while I'm working on MCEBuddy I don't have time to cut it across to something else.  It will be a lot of work.  So we'll just have to make do.

    I signed up in the beta request forum several weeks ago, but still no access.  What is the typical wait time to gain beta access?

    I am not the admin, but i checked the history on the blog, I think the last he gave access was 11/06/08. Maybe you have to wait until that time each month....

     I would like to be part of the beta group.

     Downloads are showing up but not new beta, Im guessing my user doesn't have the rights.

    Um...I feel stupid for asking this but how do I get the beta installed and working?  If there are instructions, I couldn't find it.  Thanks

    I can not find a Setup file in the unzipped folderfor installation. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

    BETA 10 is command line only, there is no setup program (as per the beta readme post)

    For BETA 10

    1. Download the file
    2. Unzip the contents to a directory
    3. If using Vista AS AN ADMINISTRATOR run the regfilters.cmd file (or right mouse click and run as administrator)
    4. If not running vista, just run the regfilters.cmd file
    5. run a command line up
    6. run mcebuddy /? to get the commands
