MCEBuddy

I have a license for ShowAnalyzer and it doesn't appear that MCEB is using it when converting files to H.264 format.  I have the 'Commercial Skipping' option selected, but the converted movies stil contain commercials.  Are there log files I can look at to help troubleshoot the problem?  Thanks.

You can turn on debugging, but I'd firstly ensure you're using ShowAnalyzer 0.92 and download the updated commercial removal profiles below:

I have SA .92 installed and I just downloaded & installed the commercial update.  Is there a log file available to review processing of recordings?

First of all, kudos to the maker of MCEBuddy. Great idea and the prog looks nice.

I second the report of licensed ShowAnalyzer v. 0.9.3.257 not working with the MCEBuddy 1.0.8. Tried with the default settings and also with the http://mcebuddy.com/files/folders/publicbuilds/entry1181.aspx scripts and the commercials are still not removed properly. I'm converting to DIVX DVD NTSC (720x480). Recorded shows are not HD, and the cable system is Comcast in US.

Localised commercial removal is realyl a hand tuning process.  There are some known issues with conversion not recognising commercial cuts, thought they relate to comskip and not showanalyzer (being corrected in 2.0).  How successful have you been using Schoolhouse?
