MCEBuddy

 I started processing a 2.6 gb dvr-ms video to WMV format this morning at around 9am. It is now 2.25pm and MCEBuddy 1.0.8 is still processing it.

It is now over 5 hours and it is still going, there has been periods of idle but most of the time it has been processing. Have I missed a setting or something or is this normal?

My system is an AMD 5600+ 2.8GHz with 2gig of ram running XP service pack 3.

 Well I guess there is something wrong with my version of MCEBuddy. It has been almost 12 hours of the program supposedly processing this video and still nothing.

No progress bar just the words "Current Activity....Video conversion Stagecoach.dvr-ms" interspersed with short periods of being idle. If it takes the program more than 12 hours to process this small 2.6 gig video then it won't work for me.

Well I guess the dvr-ms file I am trying to convert is just too different for converting programs to recognise it. I also tried another program to convert the file and it also just sat there doing nothing. At least this one had a progress bar which I could see that after a while it was not moving. 

It could also be copy protected, some channels broadcast with copy protection flagged.

 Thanks for your reply, it wasn't protected I ended up finding a program to burn it for my Dad. It was a while ago now and I don't remember the name of the program now.
