    wrong aspect ratio ?

I converted several dvrms movies of a series to Divx, but I´m confused about the aspect ratio. Sometimes it is converted to 16:9 sometimes to 4:3.

I think the Prog converts the complete movie to the ratio of the first picture. With 16:9 trailers in front of a 4:3 movie this is a problem.

It would be nice to have the possibility to force a 4:3 encoding e.g. by choosing the codec.

    Nevertheless it´s a great tool.

    Hello Verklicker,

I've a similar problem. Even if i choose a conversion "..........(with No Resize)", the aspect of the converted movie is wrong when i read the file with windows media player or Windows media center. The files that i want to convert come from TV with MCE.

In MCEBuddy 2.0 we're scanning the recording first and then setting the dimensions from what it finds.  This also crops out black bars and the likes.  We hope this will resolve the above issues.  It's a little hard to do automatically and reliably but we'll see how it goes in the beta.
